Before You Come To Class

As we open our doors and begin to welcome students back, a few changes have been made in accordance with safe operating procedure. At this time all students are required to present their proof of vaccination documentation upon arrival to the dojo. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you wish to participate on our online ZOOM classes, please send us your e-mail and we will ad you to the list. 

At this time we are asking that students self-screen before coming to the dojo.  The following are questions to consider:

• Have you, or anyone in your household, been out of the country in the last 14 days?
• Have you been in contact with anyone who has shown symptoms of COVID-19?
• Have you felt symptoms related to COVID-19 (this can include, but is not limited to, cold and flu symptoms)?
• Have you tested positive for COVID-19?

1.  Please do not arrive until 5 minutes prior to the start of class.  
2.  Change rooms will be closed. Please ensure you are changed when you arrive. 
3. Street shoes are to be left in the hallway outside the door to the dojo. 
4. Office access is restricted except for payments. Only one student may be in the office at a time. 
5.  When you enter the dojo, you will be required to sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizer can be found on the ledge next to the door.  
6.  Sign-in is required for class attendance. The sign-in sheet has been moved from the office into the dojo.
7.  In accordance with social distancing measures, the dojo has been separated into 14 taped off squares. When you arrive, please make your way to a square. 
8.  While class is in session, please do not leave your square. Water bottles and towels may be put in the corner of your square. 

As we have done on zoom, classes will remain no contact. This is to ensure proper social distancing. Zoom classes will be held synchronously with physical classes, so excess noise must be keep to a minimum during instruction so that the Zoom students are able to hear adequately.     

We understand this is a challenging time for all, but we are very excited to re-open our doors and welcome our students back. We have missed seeing your faces! Please feel free to ask any questions prior to returning to class, as we are happy to answer.
